Artist Bio :
    There is no big spiel. There is no college art degree, I am self taught. I wanted to be an artist when I was a teenager but ended up joining the army in 1978 instead. I served as an infantryman with the 82nd Airborne Division and in the Special Operations field. I left the army in 1994 and bought a big shiny Peterbilt truck, flatbed trailer and took a good look at all of the lower 48 states. I started painting after the trucking business wore me out, around 2002. I love to paint, inside or out. The plein air painting bug really bite me hard in 2009 after going out with members of the Cincinnati Art Club on their weekly paint outings. It was one of the best experiences of my life.
