Artist Bio :

I have been involved in the arts for most of my life. I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Art Education. I have spent time teaching and practicing art. I have participated in various juried art shows throughout Ohio.
    My approach to art is based on my first impression of a subject be it landscape, still-life or figurative work. I work in a loose style with emphasis on color. My choice of mediums is mainly watercolor although I am revisiting oils as my interest in plein air painting broadens. I became a member of Ohio Plein Air Society in 2006.
    Presently I belong to the Mansfield Art Center where I exhibit in the Gallery Shop. I am also a co-op member of “Art Works On Main Gallery” in Mansfield, Ohio. I currently maintain a studio in my 122 yr. old brick school house called “School House Art Studio” which is open by appointment. I can be contacted by email:
