9:00 AM COFFEE AND ORIENTATION
Jeff worked with the Athens Tourist Board, who did an advance advertising campaign and provided maps and packets of information for the artists. A local Watershed Conservation Office brought large maps of the area and were helpful in passing on info on some interesting sites for painting. Thanks to the Dairy Barn for opening their doors and providing coffee, donuts, and a space to gather in the AM and for the PM critique. Thanks to Brian for opening up his farm as a painting site.

It was a great day, sunny, but the wind made it very cool and tough to use an umbrella.
Thanks to Jeff Risner's advance preparation, and advertising,
this paintout brought out many new members and some old ones that we'd not seen in a while.
There was also some nice coverage from the press for this paintout.
