Department Chair of the Visual Arts at
Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center, Columbus, Ohio

Teresa Weidenbusch has been the curator of the Shot Tower Gallery and Art Instructor at the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center in Columbus, Ohio for over twenty years.

The Shot Tower Gallery is one of the longest running galleries in Ohio and has specialized in presenting the artwork of local and national artists for over 30 years. She also serves as a board member of the Roy G Biv Gallery in the Short North Gallery District in Columbus and is past exhibition coordinator and Vice-President of the Ohio (Columbus) Art League. She is Arts Department Chair at Fort Hayes and teaches painting and drawing, Advanced Placement Portfolio and photography. Her most recent artwork focuses on painting and digital media concerned with urban flow and regeneration influenced by her travels to throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and Indonesia.

Weidenbusch received her B.A. in Art Education and M.A. from the Ohio State University in Arts Management and Museum studies. She has received numerous awards for her work in the arts including an invitation and commendation from President Clinton and from the Governor of Ohio (George Voinovich) and the Ohio House of Representatives, as well as art preservation and service awards from various organizations. Her work in the arts has been featured in WOSU’s Art Zine and The Columbus Dispatch.
